EXPLORE YOUR FUTURE. Be part of our team.

Surveys reveal that when Testers are asked what they value most in their working lives, the following 4 points are invariably mentioned. This is how Inspired Testing recognises, and aligns, to these key points:

1. Challenging projects

We have 60 client sites internationally across a wide range of industry sectors, with different project goals, testing types and use of the latest tools. Our clients are focussed on digital enablement, which allows us to work on stimulating and cutting-edge solutions.

2. Being valued

Our clients rely on us to provide professional, experienced and motivated Testing and Quality Assurance Consultants. Our focus as a company therefore, is to ensure that our people are well remunerated, supported and developed to deliver to their client’s projects. This ensures that you have scope with lots of career growth opportunities.

3. Autonomy

Most of our clients describe the QA Consultants they would like within their teams as: people with initiative, those who have a “can do” attitude, must be comfortable with change, and able to take accountability for their work. We actively encourage our people to use their skills and experience to suggest better ways of doing things, to be tool-agnostic and most importantly, to own their solutions and work within their client domain.

Learning new things

We all know how quickly the Testing role evolved into Quality Assurance and then into Quality Engineering roles. Terms such as AI, CI, RPA, and predictive analysis are becoming more common-place in our IT environments. We have launched several Innovative Training and Technical Mentorship programmes, open to both Permanent and Contracting employees, to train and thereafter technically assist our people to implement these QA tools and technology on-site.

We are focusing on 4 key Training areas of data testing, automation testing, non-functional and niche areas such as API testing, Cloud and lastly, solution architecture with a distinct QA flavour.

Inspired Testing has embarked on a Career Development path of transitioning all our Testers into Software Quality Engineers.

A Software Quality Engineer (SQE) is someone who works within a feature team structure to assist in the delivery of quality IT products and systems, to the Product Owner. He/she will have participated in, and given feedback on, all QA activities from the writing of User stories, pre-Development QA processes, to designing and executing QA testing activities in accordance with team quality guidelines. This role's primary purpose is the use of more advanced QA techniques and QA technical tools across different technology stacks, resulting in better quality code and reusable QA artefacts.

Our SQE role has 3 different levels ranging from a novice SQE 1 to the more advanced SQE 2 person who becomes progressively more technically skilled within QA and works on larger and more complex IT projects. An SQE 3 is an individual who has extensive client experience in the successful design and implementation of different QA solutions across a varied technology stack, with advanced stakeholder management and Solution architecture skills. This individual is able to function as a technical consultant across all technical implementations, and across 4 streams of data, automation, niche or specialized testing and enterprise/solution architecture.
