Global software testing company Inspired Testing has been successfully entered into the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) RM6148 Framework, opening a path to growing its quality assurance testing (QAT) business in the public sector.
The CCS RM6148 Framework is a repository of rigorously-vetted QAT vendors providing testing environments, specialists, automation and consultancy services for public sector organisations in the UK government. It provides a trusted direct purchasing system (DPS) for the public sector that simplifies the process of selecting the best-possible match for tenders, projects and both short- and long-term contracts.
The listing gives Inspired Testing a direct line to central and local UK government public sector organisations, from health to education, defence, emergency services and not-for-profits. While the company is already established in the public sector market, the listing validates its reputation as a preferred supplier of specialist testing skills and services to government.
The Framework gives public sector companies a very focused, granular selection of suitable QAT vendors. For example, a public sector company that needs a vendor with 50 to 100 specialists providing performance and automation testing services with experience in the financial or insurance sectors can use the framework to quickly get an accurate list of vendors matching these exact requirements.
Inspired Testing is one of a handful of vendors certified with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001:2013, which sets out the requirements for an information security management system. ISO 27001 certification demonstrates that an organisation has identified the risks and put systems and controls in place to limit data breaches.
