Mamatla Rantidi is, fittingly, a highly dynamic Test Architect at Inspired Testing, a Dynamic Technologies group company, and not one to rest on her laurels. She is driven to keep learning and prides herself on working with an agile, supportive, and talented team to provide top-quality solutions.
Mamatla takes a comprehensive approach to ensuring the quality and efficiency of software testing processes in her role. She specialises in Test Management Consulting, Test Environments and Release Management (TERM), SAP Cutover Management, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Consulting, and Cloud Migration Testing Strategy. It’s a complex job that brings her a lot of fulfilment.
She says, “The most satisfying aspect of working in this technology space is being involved in implementing new technologies in this ever-evolving field. I also find it greatly fulfilling to work with clients and partners from around the globe, which allows me to learn about different cultures and industries. This vibrant environment not only broadens my perspective but also enhances my ability to deliver innovative solutions tailored to diverse business needs.”
For Mamatla, experiencing how technology impacts the lives of others is inspirational. “Working in the software field, I witness firsthand how software overall transforms how we live, work, transact, learn, and interact, contributing significantly to an improved quality of life.” She adds, “Software also transforms businesses and industries, driving innovation. As a test architect, by working closely with clients on software development projects, I contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions that are not only functional but intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible to all people as well.”
Not satisfied with her accomplishments, Mamatla is doing her MBA through the University of Johannesburg Business School. She holds a BSc Honours degree in Computer Science and Informatics from the University of the Free State, but the drive to keep learning and upskilling herself is fierce. She says, “Being in the dynamic and constantly evolving technology field, it’s important to keep up by continually learning new skills to remain relevant. If you don’t, you run the risk of having your skills become obsolete as emerging technologies advance.”
Being a woman in the tech industry is no longer the novelty it once was, but Mamatla is conscious of the need to keep working towards inclusivity. She says, “The tech industry thrives on diversity and the unique perspectives that individuals bring, regardless of gender. Being trusted with a senior position as a test architect allows me to be part of the team that contributes to the company’s global vision. I have experienced firsthand how companies like Inspired Testing are fostering an inclusive environment where women can thrive alongside their male counterparts. As a woman, I can also voice my opinion, and I have done so on our Inspired Testing podcast, ‘Testing Experts with Opinions’.”

The Inspired Testing Guild, a community dedicated to providing technical support in testing to all consultants, is a safe platform for everyone to contribute to by sharing new ideas. It provides help when needed, assists with learning new skills, and can contribute to building new connections. Additionally, the company provides study loans to qualifying employees who would like to pursue university education or any course for their career development. Mamatla says, “As an MBA student, I receive support from my manager by being assigned to projects that accommodate my MBA studies and schedule.” It’s this type of support by Inspired Testing that highlights the way that employees such as Mamatla are constantly striving to be the very best they can be.
