Global software testing and quality assurance company Inspired Testing has appointed Mihai Grigorescu to the position of Principal Strategic Consultant & Architect

Mihai will be based out of Inspired Testing’s UK office, and oversee the growth of both the SQA consulting arm as well as other areas for the company in the European and United States markets, while bolstering its internal practice and delivering on strategic initiatives for key accounts.

“This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking company that’s less concerned with red tape, is more customer centric and has a much more suitable entrepreneurial approach to this niche market, as opposed to large corporates,” says Mihai.

“Not only are companies facing traditional challenges (i.e. digital transformations, Agile & DevOps adoptions, AI enablement etc.), but now more than before, the global pandemic has accelerated the move by many towards a more foreseeable, cost effective, outcome based model,” he says.

“One of the biggest challenges for software testers and SQA consultancies is how to deliver everything as a service in predictable outputs, ranging from Automation, to Performance to Security and RPA, as clients are no longer interested in long-term contracts and monolithic setups for their testing organization, and the Inspired Testing consulting team has the right mindset in addressing these challenges”, Mihai continues.

Working with Inspired Testing’s numerous high-profile technology partners is one of the first things on Mihai’s agenda, as he seeks to develop and nurture meaningful alliances and partnerships, as well as streamline “as a Service & pay per use” subscription commercial models, linked to the company’s current and future capabilities.

With more than 15 years of experience in the tech industry and +12 in software testing, Mihai is passionate about the Software Quality Assurance, Engineering and DevOps disciplines that he has channelled and converted into positive growth for more than 300 client accounts across the globe.

“In my career so far, I’ve been active on both the delivery, the client but also on the partner sides, therefore I’ve seen the industry from all angles and went through a great range of experiences,” he says, “so when I do speak to clients today it’s from both the business as well as technical point of view, aggregated with practical anecdotal examples, adding more value than simply approaching the client’s context from either one side or the other, as is too often the case.”
