Global software company Inspired Testing has, once again, obtained its Cyber Essentials certification in 2023. The certification is backed by the UK government and gives Inspired Testing’s clients the reassurance that it actively works to protect its IT infrastructure against cyber-attacks.
Legal and Compliance Officer at Inspired Testing, Robyn de Jager, is pleased with the positive outcome of this year’s certification process. “The safety of both our own infrastructure as well as that of our clients is of vital importance. Our efforts to uphold best practices are validated with this recertification, as well as the fact that we hold an ISO27001 certification, which deals with the implementation of an Information Security Management System that complies with global best practices.”
Cybersecurity compliance gives Inspired Testing a competitive advantage as it is a requirement to do business with many clients. The Cyber Essentials certification also proves compliance with some of the requirements under the UK’s Data Protection Act 2018 and Computer Misuse Act, and the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Information Systems Directive (NISD).
Inspired Testing is determined to prevent information security incidents and the Cyber Essentials certification confirms its commitment to do all in its power to protect its client’s data.
