An agricultural company that has been in business for more than a century needed to migrate to new software systems to keep pace with the modern agricultural landscape. The client had no in-house testing capability and faced a disastrous risk by moving from its old systems to the new without any software testing.

The sheer scope and scale of the programme, which entailed upgrading multiple standalone finance and practice management systems with a global Thomson Reuters Elite 3E solution, made manual testing unfeasible. The client identified various opportunities for automation in its processes which would improve efficiency, cost, and quality gains.

The client has been using law firm management software Thomson Reuters Elite Enterprise for a number of years and is currently undertaking a migration into Elite 3E. The performance of any software system is critical and never more so than in a law firm such as this, with more than 1,400 employees and 10 offices. Any system needs to be able to handle large volumes of concurrent users without slowdowns, crashes, or other performance issues which could lead to lost revenue, decreased productivity, and damaged reputation.

The client has diverse and complex teams and development lifecycles, which proved challenging to their non-specific quality approach. This background posed a challenge for other software testing companies to provide a solution.

An established financial institution in the Isle of Man received an operating license to establish a new bank and it needed a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) solution to support its audit signoff requirements.

The client introduced new life insurance software to their South African market. Manual regression testing cycles took 8 -12 hours to complete. Through a holistic approach to test automation, test cycle times were reduced by 81%.

A new business solution provided by an international financial institution required software testing of 60 product variations. The project was hampered by the time it took to do manual test execution of the Total Regression Test Pack. Through a holistic approach based on our test automation expertise, a solution was implemented that shortened the Total Regression Test Pack cycle from 7.5 days to only working 1.5 days.

Enterprise software giant SAGE works with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) listed on their digital Marketplace to expand their offering. SAGE requires vendors to go through an accreditation process, of which rigorous and in-depth functional software testing is an integral part.
